Thankfully, ShihoYamashita, an Etsy shop positively dripping with natural shapes, metallics and romantic pops of color caught my eye right away. Shiho lovingly creates all her jewelry by hand, and is so sweetly donating 30% of her sales to Japan relief efforts. Isn't that fantastic? If we needed a good reason to buy breathtakingly-chic jewelry...now we have one. Hooray!
So, ladies...I give you Giveaway Number 1, something that's one part sweet + one part flirty: The Lotus Bloom Earrings.
Aren't they flawless? All the beauty of spring...wrapped up in one flirtastic pair of earrings. I would wear these to the movies...to class...to the grocery store. On a date, whenever that happens again. In a box, with a fox and while darning socks. I would wear them here and there...I would wear them everywhere.
That being said...I might have to buy my own when this is all said and done. :)
How to win:
Simply leave a comment on this post letting me know where you'd wear these beauties!
And for an extra entry, share this giveaway via your blog, Facebook or however you like to squawk about cute stuff, then double back to let me know you've shared the news.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE these earrings! I've been looking for something to go with a soft, tan dress and they would be perfect! Bethany, your heart is so big - I love that you're doing giveaways to help the people of Japan. I could take notes from you. I would wear them out around town or, more likely, to class and farm markets. :)
ReplyDeleteBlogged about the giveaway here.
ReplyDeleteSorry about deleting that one comment - I left it under the wrong profile. I'd love to leave more comments to help aid in the relief effort, but I don't want it to seem like more entries.... Not sure what to do about it.
Thanks again beautiful!
I would wear these to a spring picnic in the park! These are beautiful and I'm so happy to leave a comment to help with your donation to disaster relief in Japan.
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect! My little niece would call them beautiful, so I'd wear them to take her to the tulip festival at the gardens near our house.
ReplyDeleteI'd wear them to work - my darling 6 month old is obsessed with all pretty jewels (she takes after her mom) so I can only wear dangling things when I'm not with her...
ReplyDeleteI would wear them to work. They are so perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteHey Bethany, these are beautiful earrings that I would feel lucky to wear anywhere and everywhere. The thought behind them is even more beautiful. I'm going now to add this give away to my blog.

These earrings are beautiful, Bethany! I don't normally enter these things, but what with the profits and such going to such a good cause, and how amazing these earrings are, I couldn't help but to enter myself and let everyone I know about it (kierstenevan.blogspot.com/)!!
ReplyDeleteWhere couldn't they be worn? Knowing me, I'd wear them just about everywhere, but more specifically out with friends - dinner, movies, etc., on a date, or to a play (my mom and I go to those pretty often).
I think I mentioned this in a post earlier today, but I think you're a wonderful person, Bethany! Thank you and Gabriel so much for doing this.

ReplyDeleteLove! I'd wear them when my husband takes me out for dinner next month to celebrate my birthday. We haven't been out together since our daughter was born at the end of December and I haven't frocked up or worn makeup in that long, so the earrings would be the icing on my birthday cake!

I would wear them to school and to the Farmer's Market.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE these! I would wear them to school to add sparkle and fun to my outfit (I'm a teacher). It's the little things like that that make my day a bit better.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm tweeting about your giveaway!
I live in Chiba, Japan and I came back to the US to speak and fundraise while my Japanese husband is deployed in Fukushima. I would wear them every day while I'm here, to help me feel closer to my husband and my home, and to help engage people in conversation about what is happening in Japan and how they can help.
ReplyDeleteOnce back home, I would wear them to hanami (cherry-blossom viewing parties/picnics) with students and with friends, as evidence of all the love and support being sent their way.
Full disclosure, though. If I came across someone in Japan who would benefit more from these than me, I wouldn't keep them. Perhaps grounds for disqualification?
ReplyDeleteEither way, whoever ends up with these, please please post a photo of yourself wearing them so I can show people at home more of the simple and sincere ways that people around the world are helping.
Aaaaand....sent the word out about the shop and the giveaway on facebook.
